Ciel Phantomhive is the last remaining member of House Phantomhive, making him the Earl of Phantomhive. On his tenth birthday, Ciel Phantomhive went to check on his Father, only to find both his father and his mother dead. It wasn't long after that his family mansion had begun to burn down. Ciel was urged to run by the family butler, Tanaka, but unfortunately an unknown attacker ended up attacking them both and kidnapping Ciel shortly thereafter. By the time Ciel awoke, he was being sold to unknown individuals that were in a cult, that soon began to torture and brand Ciel, simply so they could end up sacrificing him. As the immense pain and agony worsened, Ciel ended up making a contract with a demon named Sebastian who made a contract with Ciel, promising to protect him, never lie to him, and help him achieve his revenge on all of those who wronged his family. It came at a hefty cost however, his soul was the price. When his revenge was achieved, Sebastian would be able to devour his human soul.

Ciel is driven entirely by his will to get revenge on those who wronged his family at this point, where he very rarely ever takes things in moderation. He is almost always serious and does not have time for things that boy's his age should still be doing, like playing and enjoying himself. However, he does regularly indulge himself in games like chess with other people. He is a master strategist.

Talents / Abilities :

Impeccable Intelligence  : Ciel is a child prodigy and mastermind of the highest of quality. Ciel is capable of devising schemes and plans in a relatively short manner of time, as well as properly assessing a situation to make the next move.

Sensible Cruelty : Ciel's entire life is devoted to one purpose now: revenge. In his devotion to achieving such a goal, he has become hardened and cruel, even though he is still a mere teenager. He view's everyone but himself as expendable pawns, ones that he can use to achieve his revenge. He is the King.

Sebastian - Demon Butler : What kind of noble would be complete without their butler? Although, Sebastian is a rare exception. Due to the pact that he made with his master, Ciel, he is obligated to serve Ciel until he achieves his ultimate goal, which is revenge against those who killed his mother and father. Being a demon, Sebastian is capable of extraordinary feats of strength, agility, episoniage intrigue, and stamina. Normal methods of killing a person prove to be ineffective against Sebastian, due to being a demon.
